Nikos Akrivos is the Head of the Department of Gynecologic Oncology at Hygeia Hospital, Athens, Greece and a certified Gynecologic Oncologist by the RCOG (Royal College of Obstetricians – Gynaecologists of the United Kingdom) as well as by the ESGO (European Society of Gynecologic Oncology) after years of training in Germany and United Kingdom.
He has also been a fellow of robotic surgery at Royal Surrey County Hospital, accredited to provide official training.
In June 2012 he won first place at the European Robotic Surgery Contest in Marseille (Da Vinci Simulator Championship – SERGS)

He has been certified in colposcopy by the British Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology – BSCCP.
