Cadaveric Dissection Hernia Course

During this course, we will explore all aspects of hernia surgery, including:

laparoscopic transabdominal preperitoneal patch plasty (TAPP),

laparoscopic total extraperitoneal patch plasty (TEP),

laparoscopic management of hiatal hernia with the use of mesh and

Transversus Abdominis Release (TAR) for large incisional hernia repair.

Trainees will have the unique opportunity to perform hernia surgery on fresh frozen cadavers in actual O.R. setting, coached and mentored by surgeons who are among the best in the field of hernia surgery.
